Field Supervision in High-Risk Areas During Dengue Outbreak
Officers and staff of the National Dengue Control Unit (NDCU), together with local health officials, recently conducted field supervision activities in the Maharagama and Boralesgamuwa Medical Officer of Health (MOH) areas as part of the ongoing dengue outbreak response.
These field supervision visits are regularly carried out by the NDCU in identified high-risk areas to monitor the implementation of dengue prevention and control measures, strengthen coordination with local health authorities, and provide technical guidance for outbreak response activities.
The National Dengue Control Unit continues to work closely with regional and local health teams to enhance vector control efforts and minimize the risk of dengue transmission through timely surveillance, community engagement, and preventive interventions.
